About growing kids
Most people subconsciously view kids as a 'miniature version of adults', but the reality is actually far from that.
Kids grow at a much faster rate and change at a much faster pace (be it for better or worse). They are also more susceptible to influences from their surroundings, and the consequential effects tend to persist longer.
